As it has been mentioned before, Helma extends Rhino with a number of host objects, providing extra functionality useful for web scripting. These are:
Represents the HTTP request, that was sent by the client.
Represents the HTTP response, that is sent back to the client.
A session object, that is assigned to the current request.
Represents the application as a whole.
Additionally the following two variables are available in the scripting environment:
The root of the object model hierarchy.
An array of objects that are contained in the request path.
